2024 SJ orchestras and recorders

Symphonia Jubilate is open to Years 2 - 12 students currently enrolled at a NSW public school who play violin, viola, cello, double bass, harp, flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, French horn, tuba, baritone horn/euphonium, percussion and recorder. There is no minimum level of ability and no auditions as our goal is to foster a safe and encouraging environment in which students can learn to have fun playing music together.

SJ Ensembles

• SJ Primo- High school string, wind, brass and percussion players
• SJ Secondo- Primary school string, wind, brass and percussion players with 2+ years experience learning their instrument
• SJ Pizzicato - Primary school string players with at least one year experience learning their instrument
• SJ Flauto Dolce:  Our SJ recorder ensemble caters for students who are working beyond their school level and/or do not have recorder ensembles at their school.

2024 Membership Fees: All NSW Public School Students

• All NSW Public School students are eligible to join the Symphonia Jubilate program.
• Please pay your Semester 1 fee when enrolling. Semester 2 fees will be payable at the beginning of Term 3, 2024.

Membership fees must be paid through Strathfield South Public School (payment instructions are provided when enrolling using the link above. They are also available here).

Uniforms

All members will need the black Symphonia Jubilate collared shirt to wear for performances. Size samples will be on display in the foyer at our first rehearsal for new members to try on before ordering. Shirts will cost $40 and must be pre-paid for at enrolment or within three weeks of enrolment day and will be handed out at one of our Term 2 rehearsals. Returning members who already have the SJ performance shirt will not need to purchase a new one.
